  Tracy Q. Callister received his M.D. from the University of California – Los Angeles. He completed his cardiology fellowship training at the University of Vermont – Burlington.

He has been in private practice as an Interventional Cardiologist from 1984 until the present. He is currently the Director of Tennessee Heart & Vascular Institute in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Callister is a Diplomat of The American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of The American College of Cardiology, The American College of Chest Physicians, The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Additionally, he is a board member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (S.C.C.T.).

Dr. Callister has been actively involved in Cardiac CT since 1996. He has performed / interpreted over 30,000 studies, including 5,000 CT angiograms. He has authored or coauthored over 50 articles on this topic, and served as an editorial consultant. He is a coauthor of the recently released "Cardiac CT Atlas" product line.
