The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) now offers access to a unique Cardiovascular CT learning platform that enables its members to discover and explore new and interesting case studies each month.

Members explore and diagnose published real-life case studies using the PC-based 'Cardiac CT Trainer' product - which includes an interactive simulated workstation environment and an advanced embedded CTA reporting system. Members can then compare their findings and treatment with those of a Level III certified professional.

How it Works


To get started, members must follow these easy steps to gain access to the SCCT CT case library:

1) This program is restricted to members of the SCCT. Not a member of the SCCT? Signup here... 2) Complete a quick online registration form. 3) Once submitted, members will momentarily receive an email with product download and activation instructions. 4) Download, install, and activate the 'Cardiac CT Trainer' software. 5) Access all of the currently published SCCT CT case studies using the product's 'Case Studies Console,' accessible directly from the product's main menu.

The SCCT will publish a minimum of one (1) new case study each month. All users will automatically receive new case studies just moments after they have been published to the community.

Note: It may take a few minutes to hours to download all of the case studies currently in the SCCT CT library. These case studies will download automatically.

Note: Want more case studies? Additional case studies can also be purchased on the Dr. Know website or directly from within the product itself by clicking 'Shop for New Case Studies' on the product's main menu.


System Requirements


The 'Cardiac CT Trainer' software used to access the SCCT CT case study library is designed to run on a standard PC. Please ensure that your computer meets the following minimum system requirements:

• Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista operating system (Windows XP/Vista recommended) • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (included with product installer) • 1.2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon processor or equivalent/better • 256 MB RAM (512 strongly recommended) • 1024 x 768 screen resolution • 3 GB of uncompressed hard disk space for case studies • Sound card and speakers/headphones • Microsoft compatible mouse and keyboard • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 1 • Broadband Internet connection (e.g. DSL or cable modem) for product activation and receiving case studies • Product activation key (provided in email after registering)
